MANAGING DIRECTOR
Rupert Spice
Rupert joined UK Land in 2013 to oversee all property-related matters with a focus on asset management and identifying corporate portfolio acquisitions of interest to the group. He is responsible for the instruction and governance of our managing agents. Prior to UK Land he worked at JLL and Sunley Homes gaining extensive experience working across all sectors of the UK property market. He was made Group MD in 2017.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
George Palmer CFA ACA IMC
George joined UK Land as CFO in March 2018 and oversees the finance of the everyday business and the financing and due diligence of potential acquisitions. He started his career at Grant Thornton becoming a Chartered Accountant and performing acquirer due diligence in the £0-£150m space. He then moved Waverton Investment Management, starting as an analyst and rising to become the co-manager of the Waverton Global Equity Fund. Whilst there he was CF30 authorised by the FCA and also gained the CFA.

Hettie Payne
Hettie joined UK Land in 2020 as Operations Manager with a particular focus on managing agent liaison and day to day property management. Before joining the Group she spent 7 years headhunting in the Facilities and Project Management sector.

Suzanne Vesey-Thompson
Suzanne joined UK Land in 2022 to focus on administrative and organisational improvement in the Group. Prior to this she had been an independent business consultant and ran the commercial operations of equine and dental businesses.

Jenny Kidston
Jenny was elected to succeed Colin as Chairman in December 2022. Jenny’s focus is on the general strategy, structure and direction of the business. Previously she was very involved in Group’s operations in the South West of England which includes a major planning and redevelopment project alongside several schemes of refurbishment. Away from the Group, she is also a Director of a national freight and haulage business.

Colin Tett FCA
Colin founded the business in the late 1970s and has led it in its various guises since then before stepping back as Chairman in 2022. He remains involved, however, in origination of acquisitions and general strategy of the business. The UK Land Group is owned by Colin’s immediate family. He started his career by training as a chartered accountant and has worked in property ever since.
Non-Executive Director
Simon Camamile MRICS
Simon brings to the Board knowledge and expertise of the UK property market, with over forty five years’ experience of transactional, development and funding business in London and throughout the country. He has significant recent involvement in a broad range of markets including industrial, logistics, office, retail and residential, site enhancement and change of use. Simon spent almost all of his career at JLL, ultimately as a Director. He is also non-executive Director at development and construction focused Headcrown Group PLc and on the Investment Board of Custodian REIT.

James Grace
James trained as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse from 1980 to 1985 and worked as a corporate finance adviser for a number of banks in the City during the period 1985 to 2015. James was a director of UK Land from 1993 to 2002 while it was a public company and rejoined the board as a non executive director in 2018. James has also been a non executive director of Novera Energy plc and Treatt plc.
